TEKSAN advances its position in alternative fuel technologies with the 310 kVA Methanol Generator Set. This innovative system stands out as the first methanol-fuelled generator project implemented in Europe. It marks the beginning of a new era in sustainable power solutions.

The system is housed in a custom-designed 20 ft container. It features an ECU-controlled methanol-fuelled engine and the fuel system specifically designed  for methanol. This configuration ensures stable, efficient and reliable combustion. The radiator fan speed is controlled via VFD, which optimizes cooling performance and energy efficiency under variable load conditions.

Safety is placed at the core of the generator set design. Gas detectors installed inside the container continuously monitor potential methanol leaks. The three-way catalytic converter and high-temperature-resistant insulation protect critical components. The double-walled stainless steel fuel tank supports both manual and automatic refuelling and ensures safe operation. A gas based fire detection and suppression system detects fire risks instantly and performs rapid extinguishing when required.

The container has an IP23 protection rating. Automatic louvers used at the air intake and outlet protect the generator set against external environmental conditions. Acoustic panels installed inside the container enable low noise level operation.
The system complies fully with Stage V emission standards. It support integrated operation with energy storage systems and parallel operation with the grid. These features make it an ideal solutions for EV charging stations and hybrid microgrid applications. Powerlock connectors and quick connect couplings allow fast, easy and highly reliable electrical cable and fuel hose connections. The smart control panel and remote monitoring system  enable simple monitoring and management of the entire system.
